Finally speak the Japanese you’ve been studying

You know the kanji. You’ve drilled the grammar. But when a real conversation starts, it all freezes. Renza is where you practice saying it out loud, on your own time, with nobody watching.

Try Japanese freeWe speak JLPT (N5 to N1). 15 minutes free, no card.

What changes when you practice out loud

Get past the freeze

The wall isn’t your vocabulary, it’s the silence before you speak. Short, low-stakes calls retrain that reflex until talking feels normal.

Prep for the JLPT and interviews

Practice the spoken situations the test and real life throw at you, from self-introductions to keigo-heavy exchanges, scored every time.

Build a deck of your real mistakes

The particle you keep dropping, the verb ending you keep missing. Every correction becomes a flashcard, so you fix it once.

Keigo without the panic

Plain form with a friend, teineigo with a stranger, full keigo with a boss. Each scene tells the AI which register to hold, and your report flags the moment you slipped out of it. You stop guessing and start hearing the difference.

Questions, answered

Is this just a chatbot?

No. A general AI assistant is brilliant, but it does not hold your level, stay in a scenario, give you a structured report, track the mistakes you keep making, or build a review deck from them. Renza is built to do nothing but that. It is the difference between asking an AI things and having a coach.

Will I become fluent?

Renza will not make you fluent on its own. Nothing will. But the thing blocking most people is not knowledge, it is never actually speaking. We fix that part, in short sessions you can do every day.

Do I need a microphone?

Yes. Renza runs in your browser and we check your mic when you sign up. Headphones help, but any working mic is enough.

What if I am a complete beginner?

Start at A1, N5, or TOPIK 1. The first scenarios are extremely gentle, the AI scaffolds in the target language, and you can leave English help on while you find your feet.

Can I switch languages?

Yes, any time from Settings. Your progress is saved separately for each language, so switching back puts everything exactly where you left it.

Is my call recorded?

Audio is processed to generate your transcript and report. You can delete your data and your account any time from Settings. See the privacy policy for retention details.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from Settings. No retention emails, no haggling.
