Privacy Policy
Last updated May 29, 2026
This policy explains what data Renza collects, how we use it, and the control you have over it.
The short version
We collect what we need to run Renza and help you practice, nothing more. Your conversations are private to you. We do not sell your data. You can delete your data and your account at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your email and basic profile, including the language and level you choose.
- Conversation data: the audio from your practice calls and the transcripts, reports, corrections, and review cards generated from them.
- Usage data: how you use the product, such as minutes practiced and scenarios completed, so we can show your progress and improve the service.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider, Polar. We do not store your full card details.
How we use it
- To run your conversations and generate your transcripts, reports, and review deck.
- To track your progress and recurring mistakes across sessions.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To contact you about your account, and, only if you opt in, occasional product updates.
Voice and audio
Your call audio is processed to produce a transcript and the feedback in your report. We use this data to provide the service to you. You can delete your conversations and account from Settings.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to deliver Renza, including voice and speech infrastructure, AI model providers, hosting, and our payment processor, Polar. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements and only for the purposes of running the service.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records, such as for tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in Settings, or by emailing us.
Children
Renza is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will let you know. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
