How to say it in Japanese

How do you say hello in Japanese?

こんにちは (konnichiwa) means hello or good afternoon. In the morning, say おはようございます (ohayō gozaimasu); in the evening, こんばんは (konbanwa).

How do you say thank you in Japanese?

ありがとうございます (arigatō gozaimasu) is the polite form. Casually, you can just say ありがとう (arigatō).

How do you say sorry or excuse me in Japanese?

すみません (sumimasen) works for both a light apology and "excuse me" (including getting someone's attention). For a sincere apology, use ごめんなさい (gomen nasai).

How do you count to ten in Japanese?
